Yes, you can use standard-capacity HP ink cartridges in your HP printer, as long as they match the required number series for your specific model.

However, if your printer uses "Setup" cartridges for first-time installation, is enrolled in an HP Instant Ink plan, or has HP+ firmware restrictions, regular or third-party cartridges may be blocked.

If you intend to use standard HP cartridges, make sure to remove all cartridges currently under an HP Instant Ink subscription. The printer cannot operate in a mixed cartridge mode. You have to replace the complete set of cartridges (color and blank)
